NARS’s Fall 2011 collection is resolutely avant-garde. Daring shots of color aretempered with softer, subtler tones. Eyes range from bright true blue to silvery taupe, dazzling peach and matte dove gray. Lips run the gamut from statementmaking matte red to sophisticated plum and sparkling champagne pink. Zang Toi is a Malaysian fashion designer. In 1989, he established In New-York his now renowned collection “The House of Toi”.

Toi seduced the fashion scene with his vibrant hues and bold design, as well as his always feminine silhouettes. A graduate from the Parson School of Design,  he now counts Sharon Stone, Meg Ryan, Fergie or Eva Longoria as his clients.

When he presented his latest collection during New York Fashion Week, Toi managed to charm the crowd enough to close on a standing ovation; something that never happens during NYFW. His collection ranges from daytime attire to evening gowns, and features only the highest quality fabrics and textures. For the first time, the designer has toned down the colors to use a palette of nude, camel and charcoal but still injected a burst of emerald as his personal touch.

KOTUR is a handbag brand created by New-Yorker Fiona Kotur Marin. KOTUR’s collections include minaudieres, evening clutches and day handbags.

The idea for KOTUR came to Marin after discovering a vast treasure trove of decorative vintage fabric woven by a 90-year-old man from Hong-Kong. In 2004, she produced her first collection: a kind of retro glamour combined with various exotic elements in a limited edition of brocade clutches.
