NARS’s Fall 2011 collection is resolutely avant-garde. Daring shots of color aretempered with softer, subtler tones. Eyes range from bright true blue to silvery taupe, dazzling peach and matte dove gray. Lips run the gamut from statementmaking matte red to sophisticated plum and sparkling champagne pink. A stormy gray nail color adds a mysterious finishing touch. The effect is confident, edgy and intense.

Laura Mercier is introducing the Canyon Collection, a collection inspired from the beauty of earth.

Laura Mercier describes the look of the collection in these words “The cheeks are dusted in sunset inspired hues. Eye colours are paired with soft golden highlights. The look is finished with lush lips in shade of russet, rose and sienna.”

Several new products and colors are available with the new collection.

Introducing the Portofino Collection by Laura Mercier

The Portofino collection is inspired by a small Italian fishing village of the same name. This chic collection offers crisp whites, deep water blues and lush warm crimsons.

The collection introduces the following new products: the Riviera eye color palette, the Golden Pink sheer crème glow, a new crème lip color in Sunrise, a lip glacé in the new color Nectar, the body bronzing makeup, and the illuminating tinted moisturizer with SPF 20 in Bronze Radiance.

Also new, are the Laura Mercier Gel Lip Colour. This innovative gel-based lipstick cushions your lips in soft-comfort colour with a shine finish. The base is a clear lip color than can be made bolder by reapplying. The super smooth formula will leave your lips with a soft shine.

The Dollface color (bottom right) won the The Fuchsia Peony Prize in the 2011 Spring Makeup O-wards.

Last but not least, the Baked Eye Colour. It is a new Eye Colour formula featuring Baked technology in beautiful shades that last all day. The Baked Eye Color are smudge resistant, and gently smoothes onto the lid for an even application.

You can apply them dry for an even wash of color with the All Over Eye Colour Brush. Or apply them wet by dampening the Crème Eye Colour Brush and brush on for a more vibrant effect.
